Our tablet bag is a unique lapdesk and bag with an integral tray top and bean bag system. There is no other tablet bag on the market like it. It can be used as a bag and then placed comfortably on the lap for working, sketching or stylus use, and gives more secure and  ergonomic support for tablet use.


Our product which can be beneficial in many walks of life and in many professional sectors. Education in particular is a field which we really can make a difference as our Trabasack kid’s tablet bag is ideal as tablets become more integral throughout every stage of schooling. With this in mind we’re thrilled to be attending The Tablets for Schools Conference 2013 on 9th December.

We are one of a number of exhibitors at the event and will be showcasing, demoing and promoting the full Trabasack range. Tablets for Schools 2013

The Conference runs from 8.45am until 5pm at the QEII Centre in London. The schedule for the event is a mixture of informal browsing time, to come and see the exhibitors such as ourselves, and structured talks and workshop options.

Keynote speakers include David Blunkett MP, former Secretary of State for Education, Professors from both the universities of Cambridge and Loughborough and the CEOs of both Carphone Warehouse and the Dixons Retail Plc group. The event will be hosted by Andrew Percy MP, a former teacher, and now MP for Brigg and Goole. 450 educational professionals are now confirmed for the event including head teachers and leading decision makers within individual schools will be attending. The aim of the event is to demonstrate just how effective and beneficial tablet technology can be in schools.

The workshops organised include:

  • Switching from netbook to tablet
  • Things to consider when introducing Tablet Devices to a single school and across multiple schools
  • Tablets at Greenford High School: our journey so far
  • School – It’s all about the learning
  • Planning your wireless and networking infrastructure to ensure the vision of mobile learning succeeds
  • Promoting Universal Access with Peripheral Tablet Devices
  • Introducing tablets to assist the journey from Ofsted good to outstanding

This is just a sample and more are being added each day. Anybody working in the education sector is bound to find at least one of these topics inspiring. They could be the first step in introducing tablet technology to your school and taking advantage of the many benefits it offers.

The Tablets for Schools campaign group have spent two years researching and developing procedures for the use of tablets and schools. Producing in depth reports to demonstrate their findings. It is a non-profit campaign which commissions research into introducing tablets into schools and how tablet technology can be used for the benefit of our children.

The long-term goal is there to be tablets available for every student in the UK.

We’re looking forward to the event on 9th December and hope to see our Trabasack Minis being put to good use by their new owners!
